First off, there's not supposed to be a caret in this title, but the internet and Notepad apparently hate superscript. You should change the title of the song so that there's no caret and the "-15" is superscripted in your music player of choice if you can (you should be able to in iTunes and Winamp).

This song was created in about a day for a BRKfest afterparty. It's the first song I finished for this EP. Surprisingly, I only had to do a bit of in-LSDJ mixing and tweaking to fix this song. I didn't change anything melodically from the time I've finished this song until its release. I made this track basically right after I finished "Quantum" my Auxcide mashup track, and I think it shows in this song. Also, this was my first non-4/4 track. I titled this track "2+3: Catatonia" as I was still going with the "2*3" concept at that time. This was the second song I finished for this EP.

I was trying to go for a space battle feel, but in the context of the final Big Bang concept I thought it fit as a sort of representation of the current wall that modern astrophysics and particle physics faces in that there is currently no reliable model for what happen prior to 10^-15 seconds after the Big Bang. That's an incredibly small amount of time, but in particle physics, that's a serious gap in our knowledge pertaining to the beginning of everything. Everything before 10^-15 seconds is still fairly hypothetical. There are many models that can be substantiated, but nothing is as concrete as everything that comes after that time.
